Good location, friendly service, comfy beds

So sad for breakfast that we missed, the bed was too good to get up early, but as I saw I think it must be good breakfast. The location is easy to find and staff are very friendly, front staff told the way to night market and help me for taxi calling. Convenient store 24H just in front of the hotel and can walk around for shopping or dining. They also keep my baggage for 2 days while I left to Alishan. If I visit Taiwan again, Chiayi King is in my list.

If the hotel don't mind with get up-late guest, could you please serve a little thing like coffee, milk or breads or some take away like grab & go, but I also understand the rule... too comfy bed I guess!

Generally all good except parking

Location is close to railway station, night market, other places of interest. Inside commercial area. Clean, adequate facilities. Like the large washer n dryer.

Parking on site is limited. Off site parking is 1km away cause some inconveniences.

Good value for one night stay!

A hotel of decent value very close to the train station. The bed was comfy and the sheets were clean. The staff was friendly.

The whole place smells a bit bad, to be honest. The first room I was given reeked of tobacco - but to their credit, the staff readily gave me a different room. I had to switch from double to twin, but I still much preferred the fresher air. There is still a bit of a stale smell all over the property though - and everything seemed a bit dated. I couldn’t really see out the windows, but maybe higher floors are better. The breakfast wasn’t really to my taste either - there were eggshells in the omelette. :/

The old rusty furnitures. Some not that clean to sit on esp the sofa. Toilet could work well with a shower divider so that the whole bathroom floor won’t be wet.

Comfy and convenient stay in Chiayi

Room was clean, and bathroom was renovated! Breakfast had limited choice, but tasted good. Opposite a Family Mart. Quite near Chiayi train station, walk 5 min. Kindly let us store our luggage while at Alishan.

Bathtub was deep and hard to step into for my 10 year old son.

Decent and well located

- close to Chaiyi station - clean and comfortable room - a good stopover on the way to Alishan if you want to stay in Chiayi, but I’d recommend not doing so. The town has little to offer

- overly rigid 3pm checkin policy - almost no “western” breakfast options (not unreasonable given clientele)
